Banswara, 4th Oct. President Droupadi Murmu on Friday attended the Adi Gaurav Samman Samaroh at Mangarh Dham in Banswara, Rajasthan, on October 4, 2024. During the event, she congratulated the recipients of the ‘Adi Gaurav Samman,’ noting with pride that a higher number of women were honored this year.
She emphasized that the progress of women reflects the development of any society and that the ceremony showcases the diverse talents and contributions of tribal people in various fields.
President Murmu expressed her admiration for the tribal youth of Rajasthan, who are achieving remarkable success in sports and bringing honor to their communities, the state, and the nation.
She highlighted the recently launched Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, which aims to benefit over five crore individuals in the tribal community, and expressed her confidence in its potential to enhance tribal pride.
Furthermore, she commended educational initiatives like Eklavya Model Residential Schools and Adarsh Vidyalayas, which are benefiting tribal students.
The President urged families to encourage their children to take advantage of these educational opportunities, underscoring the importance of education in empowering tribal communities.
