New Delhi, 14th Sept. Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia launched the official website for the Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav in New Delhi on Friday. The festival, scheduled for December 6-8, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, aims to celebrate and promote the rich cultural and economic heritage of Northeast India.
The website, www.ashtalakshmimahotsav.com, will provide event updates, schedules, and participation details. Scindia highlighted the event’s role in bridging the gap between Northeast India and the rest of the country, emphasizing its potential to boost economic development by showcasing local artisans and entrepreneurs.
The Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav will feature displays of Muga and Eri Silk, artisanal crafts, and Geographical Indication (GI) products. It will include a Fashion Show, Design Conclave, Buyer-Seller Meet, and Investment Round Table to foster collaboration and economic growth.
