Jaipur, 23rd Sept. In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has transferred 58 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 20 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The personnel department issued the transfer lists late on Sunday.
Key changes include Additional Director General (ADG) for Planning, Modernisation, and Welfare, Govind Gupta, who has been appointed as the Director General for Jails. ADG (Railway) Anil Paliwal will now oversee Technical Services (Telecommunications and Technical) and Traffic as the Director General. ADG (Vigilance) Ashok Rathore has been reassigned to training, while ADG (Training) Malini Agrawal will take on the role of ADG for Civil Rights and Human Trafficking.
Additionally, eight other ADGs and eight Inspector General rank officials have also been reassigned. Several districts, including Alwar, Bhilwara, Jaipur Rural, Ajmer, and Bikaner, will see new Superintendents of Police (SPs) appointed.
The deputy commissioner of police (DCP) for Jaipur (East) has also been changed. Bikaner SP Tejaswani Gautam will step in as DCP for Jaipur (East), while Kavendra Singh Sagar will assume Gautam’s previous role as SP of Bikaner.
Among the IAS transfers, Bhawani Singh Detha, previously a member of the Revenue Board Ajmer, has been appointed as Principal Secretary for Ayurveda. Ambrish Kumar, who was awaiting posting, will serve as Secretary of the Medical Education Department. Urmila Rajoria, the Kota Divisional Commissioner, will now be Secretary for Administrative Reforms, and Pratibha Singh will take over as Jodhpur DC.
The district collectors of Deeg, Rajsamand, Deedwana-Kuchaman, Sawai Madhopur, and Beawar have also been transferred in this reshuffle.
