GG News Bureau
Chandigarh, 24th Sept. In a major administrative shake-up, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann removed his Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Onkar Singh from his position on Monday.

This decision follows a major cabinet reshuffle the previous day, during which Mann accepted the resignations of four ministers: Chetan Singh Jouramajra (Public Relations, Mining, and Horticulture), Bram Shankar Jimpa (Revenue), Balkar Singh (Local Bodies), and Anmol Gagan Mann (Tourism).

The resignations were forwarded to the Governor with immediate effect on Sunday, indicating a swift response to the changing political landscape.

Among the potential candidates for the new cabinet positions are Barinder Goyal, MLA from Lehra Gaga, who notably defeated former Punjab Chief Minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal; Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA from Sahnewal; Taranpreet Singh Sond, MLA from Khanna; and Mahinder Bhagat, MLA from Jalandhar West.

This reshuffle marks the fourth expansion of the Mann government’s cabinet.
