New Delhi, 16th Sept. President Droupadi Murmu is set to inaugurate the 8th India Water Week (IWW) on September 17, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event, organized by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, will run from September 17-20, 2024, and will be attended by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri C. R. Paatil, and Minister of State, Shri Raj Bhushan Choudhary.
The theme for IWW 2024 is “Partnerships and Cooperation for Inclusive Water Development and Management,” highlighting the need for collaborative approaches to sustainable water management. The week-long event will feature a range of activities, including seminars, exhibitions, and cultural programs designed to foster networking, knowledge exchange, and innovative solutions.
Key highlights of the event include:
