Gandhinagar, 18th Sept. Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that he has instilled hope and possibility in the country.
Speaking at the Valedictory Ceremony of the 4th Global RE-INVEST in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the VP highlighted PM Modi’s role in shaping India’s global presence and influence.
Dhankhar described PM Modi’s political journey, likening it to a rocket escaping Earth’s gravity. He said, “In 2014, he took off amidst a despondent atmosphere, generating hope. By 2024, he is beyond gravitational forces, with achievements that are astronomical.”
The Vice-President noted that Modi’s voice is respected globally, positioning India as a beacon of peace and diplomacy. “Bharat has become an epicenter for global harmony,” Dhankhar remarked, praising Modi’s efforts in resolving international conflicts.
Touching on India’s G20 presidency, Dhankhar emphasized the significance of the motto, “One Earth, One Family, One Future,” and the inclusion of the African Union, lauding Modi’s visionary leadership. He also stressed India’s non-expansionist ethos, calling for diplomacy over war.
The Vice-President concluded by urging holistic action against climate change, calling for optimal energy use and media advocacy to promote awareness.
Dignitaries, including Gujarat’s Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, attended the event.
