PM Modi to Launch ₹56,000 Crore Projects in Maharashtra on October 5

New Delhi, 4th Oct. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Maharashtra on October 5, where he will launch various key initiatives across the agricultural, animal husbandry, and urban mobility sectors, with projects totaling over ₹56,000 crore.
In Washim, the Prime Minister will pay tribute at the Samadhis of Sant Sevalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj, followed by the inauguration of the Banjara Virasat Museum, celebrating the heritage of the Banjara community.
He will also launch several initiatives in agriculture and animal husbandry, including the disbursement of the 18th installment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi worth ₹20,000 crore to 9.4 crore farmers and the 5th installment of the NaMo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.
Additionally, Modi will dedicate over 7,500 projects under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) and launch initiatives for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and genomic technologies for cattle and buffaloes.
Later in Thane, PM Modi will inaugurate the Mumbai Metro Line 3 Phase-1, boosting urban mobility, and lay the foundation stone for the Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project, Eastern Freeway Extension, and the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) Project.
These projects collectively aim to enhance Maharashtra’s infrastructure, urban transport, and rural agricultural development.
