New Delhi,3rd Jan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 1,675 newly constructed flats for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) at Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to provide affordable housing and uplift living conditions for underprivileged communities.

The project, built under the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), aims to replace unsafe and substandard accommodations with modern, well-equipped housing. The flats are designed to offer better living standards, complete with essential amenities such as water, electricity, and sanitation facilities.

This development aligns with the government’s vision of “Housing for All,” emphasizing inclusivity and dignity in urban living. The inauguration marks a significant milestone in addressing the city’s housing crisis and improving the quality of life for economically weaker sections.

Residents and stakeholders have lauded the initiative, hoping it will set a precedent for similar projects across the nation. With housing as a critical component of social welfare, the move underscores the government’s commitment to equitable urban development.
