Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investor Summit in Bhopal on February 24. Before heading to the summit, he will visit Bageshwar Dham on February 23 to lay the foundation stone for a cancer hospital.

Meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu is expected to visit Bageshwar Dham on February 26 to attend a mass wedding ceremony for 251 girls, including 108 tribal brides, organized by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri on the occasion of Mahashivratri.

Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will travel to Delhi on Wednesday to attend a meeting with ambassadors. He confirmed the Prime Minister’s visit and the hospital foundation-laying ceremony.

The cancer hospital, to be built in phases, will have 100 beds in the first stage, expected to be completed in three years. PM Modi was invited by Dhirendra Krishna Shastri for the event. This will be PM Modi’s second visit to Chhatarpur district in two months.

With both the President and Prime Minister expected to visit, Chhatarpur district administration has intensified preparations. Collector Parth Jaiswal has canceled all leaves for district officials and issued an order to ensure smooth arrangements.
