New Delhi, 2nd Jan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday commended the Maharashtra Government for its dedicated efforts in driving comprehensive development in remote and Maoist-affected regions of the state. The Prime Minister’s remarks came in response to a post by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on social media platform X.

Acknowledging the state’s initiatives, PM Modi wrote, “I laud the Maharashtra Government’s efforts to ensure all-round development in remote and Maoist-affected areas. This will certainly boost ‘Ease of Living’ and pave the way for even more progress. A special congratulations to my sisters and brothers of Gadchiroli and the surrounding areas!”

The development efforts in areas like Gadchiroli aim to improve infrastructure, education, healthcare, and employment opportunities, addressing long-standing challenges faced by the residents of these regions.

The Prime Minister’s appreciation highlights the government’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth and ensuring that even the most underserved areas of the country benefit from India’s progress.

This recognition also reinforces the importance of sustained development in conflict-affected areas, paving the way for greater peace, stability, and prosperity.
