New Delhi, 27th Sept. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the leadership teams of Tata Sons and PSMC on Thursday, focusing on updates related to semiconductor manufacturing projects in India. PSMC expressed its eagerness to expand its operations further in the country, showcasing a strong commitment to India’s growing semiconductor ecosystem.
Following the meeting, PM Modi took to X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Had a great meeting with the leadership team of Tata Sons and PSMC. They shared updates on their Semiconductor manufacturing projects. PSMC expressed enthusiasm to further expand its footprint in India.”
The discussions highlight India’s efforts to enhance its position in the global semiconductor market, as part of the government’s broader push for technological self-reliance and strengthening the domestic electronics industry.
