New York, 23rd Sept. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with K.P. Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

PM Modi congratulated Nepal on its recent accession as the 101st member of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), emphasizing the need for a coordinated regional response to climate change challenges.
As a priority partner under India’s Neighbourhood First Policy, this meeting underscores the ongoing high-level exchanges aimed at strengthening relations between the two neighboring countries.
