Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in France attending the AI Action Summit. However, he attended a very important event on the sidelines of the summit. He joined the birthday celebrations of Vivek, the son of US Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Chilukuri Vance.
PM Modi took to microblogging site X to express his gratitude: “Had a wonderful meeting with US VP JD Vance and his family. We had a great conversation on various subjects. I am delighted to join them in celebrating the joyous birthday of their son, Vivek!”

JD Vance responded by thanking PM Modi for his kindness and for the thoughtful gifts his children received. “Prime Minister Modi was gracious and kind, and our kids really enjoyed the gifts. I’m grateful to him for the wonderful conversation,” Vance wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. They discussed topics of mutual interest, including how the United States can assist India in diversifying its energy sourcing through investments in clean, “reliable” US nuclear technology, the White House confirmed in an official statement.
