New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon To Visit India From March 16-20

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon will visit India from March 16 to March 20 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. This will be Luxon’s first official visit to India as New Zealand’s Prime Minister.

During his trip, Luxon will visit New Delhi and Mumbai before returning to Wellington on March 20, 2025.

The visit will include talks between Prime Minister Luxon and PM Modi on March 17, focusing on strengthening India-New Zealand relations. PM Modi will also host a lunch in honor of the visiting leader. Luxon is also scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu on the same day.

Luxon will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session of the 10th Raisina Dialogue 2025 on March 17.

From March 19-20, Luxon will visit Mumbai, where he plans to engage with Indian business leaders and other key representatives.

Luxon will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, businesspeople, media members, and representatives of New Zealand’s Indian diaspora.

The visit underscores the strong, long-standing relationship between India and New Zealand, reaffirming both nations’ commitment to deepening bilateral ties and enhancing people-to-people connections.
