Minister Patel confirmed the security breach on his social media account, warning users not to engage with any suspicious content. “Friends, my X (Twitter) account has been hacked, and some objectionable content was posted, which is not from me. Please do not click on any links, photos, or videos shared from my account. A complaint has been filed with the Bhopal Cyber Cell,” he stated in a message to the public.
The hackers reportedly posted a false announcement claiming that the Indian National Congress is launching a digital token using blockchain technology. However, this claim is entirely fake. Blockchain technology is typically associated with cryptocurrencies and has no official connection to the Congress party.
Authorities are investigating the cyberattack, working to trace the hackers responsible for the breach. Meanwhile, the minister has advised citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity linked to his account.
