Rewa- A shocking incident at Gandhi Smriti Hospital in Rewa has left doctors and families baffled after five women lost their memory following C-section deliveries. The affected women, admitted to the gynecology department, were unable to recognize their family members post-surgery, triggering panic in the hospital.

According to reports, the women underwent cesarean deliveries and were shifted to the normal ward after surgery. However, they remained unconscious for an unusually long time, raising concerns among their families. When they eventually regained consciousness, they were unable to recognize their relatives, leaving their families in distress.
Hospital authorities, including Superintendent Dr. Rahul Mishra, rushed to the ward upon receiving the information and initiated immediate medical intervention. While three women are reportedly in stable condition, two remain critical.
Doctors suspect the memory loss could be due to an adverse reaction to medication administered post-surgery. However, the exact cause remains unclear. An investigation is underway to determine whether negligence played a role in the incident. Meanwhile, medical teams are closely monitoring the patients and working to restore their health.
