IPL 2025 season is shaping up, and one of the most eagerly awaited encounters is Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS). Even though there have been numerous changes in the teams, of interest is the aspect that three current LSG players once played for PBKS.

Here are the three former PBKS players who now play for LSG in IPL 2025

Nicholas Pooran

Nicholas Pooran was a part of PBKS from 2019 to 2021. In 31 innings for PBKS, he scored 606 runs, at an average of 22.44 with a strike rate of 154.98, including two fifties. However, in his current franchise, he has shown much more consistency along with his power-hitting skills.

David Miller

David Miller spent a huge amount of time in the PBKS franchise. Fondly known as “Killer Miller” as well, he was PBKS’ go-to batter from 2012 to 2019. He scored 1974 runs in 82 innings for them, at an average of 35.25 with a strike rate of 139.40. He also smashed nine fifties and one century. That century came against Royal Challenges Bengaluru (RCB) in 2013 in Mohali off just 38 balls and it is still now the third fastest century in the history of the IPL. In 2016, he even captained PBKS for six matches.

Aiden Markram

Aiden Markram came as a replacement for Dawid Malan in PBKS during the IPL 2021. In that season, he played in six matches, scoring 146 runs at an average of 29.20 with a strike rate of 122.6. However, he was not retained and then, he went on to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) from 2022 to 2024 before getting for LSG ahead of this IPL 2025.
