The first assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir in over a decade is not just another electoral exercise—it’s a historic event set against the backdrop of profound political and constitutional changes. For the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, over 23 lakh voters from 24 constituencies across seven districts will participate in a democratic process that will shape the region’s future.
