New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar engaged in a series of high-profile diplomatic meetings on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue 2025, reinforcing India’s commitment to global cooperation across political, economic, and strategic domains.

Jaishankar met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, where they discussed Ukraine’s perspective on ongoing peace negotiations. Jaishankar highlighted the importance of this development, stating that it would enhance diplomatic and economic engagement between the two nations. Additionally, India and Ukraine signed a protocol agreement enabling visa-free travel for officials.

In a separate meeting, Jaishankar held discussions with Thailand’s Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, focusing on strengthening cooperation in digital innovation, regional connectivity, and food security. The two leaders also deliberated on enhancing India-Thailand collaboration within the framework of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation).

Jaishankar also engaged in talks with Peruvian Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer Salcedo, exploring opportunities to deepen political, economic, and infrastructure collaboration. A key highlight of their discussions was the formal exchange of an agreement between the National Archives of India and the General Archives of Peru, which aims to enhance historical research and documentation-sharing between the two nations.
