The Ashok Chakra, depicted in navy blue at the center of the flag’s white band, is inspired by the Dharma Chakra from Emperor Ashoka’s Lion Capital at Sarnath. Representing the eternal cycle of law and righteousness, the 24-spoke wheel emphasizes the principle of continuous progress. The saffron color symbolizes strength and courage, the white band stands for peace and truth, while the green signifies growth and prosperity.
President Boric’s visit to India, taking place from April 1 to April 5 at PM Modi’s invitation, aims to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations. Accompanied by a high-profile delegation, including government officials, business leaders, and cultural representatives, Boric is expected to engage in discussions covering trade, investment, and strategic collaboration.
