Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday, reaffirming the deep-rooted partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The two leaders discussed strengthening economic, strategic, and cultural ties, with a focus on innovation and future growth.

Following the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan praised the relationship between the two nations, calling it a partnership “built on trust, shaped by history, and driven by a shared vision to create a future full of opportunity, innovation, and lasting prosperity.”

PM Modi also highlighted Dubai’s key role in advancing the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and expressed optimism about deepening collaboration in various sectors.

The Crown Prince, on his first official visit to India, also held discussions with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. His engagements aim to enhance cooperation across trade, security, and technology sectors.
As part of his visit, Sheikh Hamdan will travel to Mumbai for a business roundtable, bringing together Indian and Emirati business leaders. The discussions will focus on expanding economic collaboration in areas such as infrastructure, energy, fintech, and sustainability.
India and the UAE share a strong economic and cultural bond, with Dubai serving as a vital hub for Indian businesses and hosting a 4.3 million-strong Indian diaspora. The visit reinforces both nations’ commitment to building a future-focused partnership that fosters innovation and prosperity.
