The Pickleball Association of Gujarat (PAG), under the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), is set to host a historic edition of the LGT Wealth India Gujarat Masters 2025 in Vadodara from March 21 to 23. With over 250 players competing across 29 categories, this event marks the largest state-level pickleball tournament in Gujarat’s history, reflecting the sport’s rapid growth in the region.

Boasting a prize pool of more than ₹5 lakh, the Gujarat Masters is more than just a competition—it represents a significant step in positioning pickleball as one of the fastest-growing and most inclusive sports in the state and across India.
The PAG, led by a team of experienced former athletes and ITF tennis veterans, has been instrumental in promoting the sport. Key figures such as Saurabh Trivedi, Ronak Mehta, Rahul Vora, Shaleen Bhatt, and cricketer Mrugesh Kothari bring their expertise and dedication to the association’s vision of nurturing world-class pickleball talent.
Commenting on the landmark event, Saurabh Trivedi, President of PAG, stated:
“The Gujarat Masters is a game-changer for pickleball in India. With record-breaking participation, it’s not just Gujarat’s biggest pickleball tournament—it’s a statement of the sport’s growing momentum. Our goal is to create a strong, sustainable ecosystem where players can compete, develop, and gain national and international exposure.”
To accelerate talent development, PAG has introduced a Player Sponsorship Program to provide financial and training support to promising athletes. Additionally, PAG Labs, an upcoming high-performance training and mentorship initiative, will be launched under the guidance of internationally acclaimed coach Radhika Trivedi and AIPA Head Coach Bhupendra ji.
With these efforts, Gujarat is emerging as a key hub for pickleball in India, paving the way for aspiring athletes to transition from grassroots to the global stage. The Gujarat Masters 2025 is more than a competition—it’s a springboard for the country’s future pickleball champions.
