Delhi Youth Congress Alleges Forgery Against Arvind Kejriwal

Published:

New Delhi, 25th Dec. Akshay Lakra, president of the Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress, has leveled serious allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of misleading the public with unfulfilled promises. Lakra, accompanied by party members, visited the Parliament Street police station to demand the registration of a case of cheating and forgery against Kejriwal.

In his statement, Lakra highlighted a discrepancy in Kejriwal’s recent promise to provide ₹2,100 to women in Delhi. He pointed out that the Delhi government’s Women and Child Welfare Department has reportedly stated that no such scheme exists. “When your officers are not listening to you, then why are you showing false dreams to the people of Delhi and the women of Delhi?” Lakra questioned.

The Youth Congress leader criticized the alleged gap between the government’s announcements and its administrative actions, accusing Kejriwal of misleading voters. The incident has sparked a heated political debate, with opposition leaders demanding greater accountability from the AAP-led Delhi government.

This development adds to the mounting scrutiny of governance in Delhi, as political parties gear up for upcoming electoral battles.
