Delhi Government Clarifies: ‘AAP Schemes Non-Existent

Published:

New Delhi, 25th Dec. The Delhi Government’s Health and Women Welfare Departments have issued public notices denying the existence of the widely publicized ‘Mahila Samman’ and ‘Sanjeevani’ welfare schemes. These initiatives, previously touted by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to provide Rs 2100 monthly to women and free medical treatment for senior citizens, were pivotal in the party’s election campaigns.

This revelation has sparked accusations of misleading the public. Critics allege that the AAP used these promises to garner votes, despite lacking plans to implement them.

AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has dismissed the clarifications as politically motivated attacks aimed at undermining his party’s credibility. “These notices are part of a larger conspiracy to derail AAP’s governance and tarnish its image,” he said in a recent statement.

The controversy has stirred debates about transparency in campaign promises and accountability in governance, putting the AAP under public and political scrutiny.
