Washim, 5th Oct. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Washim district of Maharashtra on Saturday, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, alleging it is controlled by a “gang of urban Naxals” and urging citizens to unite against its “dangerous agenda.”
Modi emphasized the need for solidarity to thwart Congress’s alleged attempts to divide the country. “They (Congress) think that if we all unite, then their agenda to divide the country will fail,” he remarked.
He further slammed Congress for its alleged association with individuals who threaten India’s well-being, referencing a recent drug bust in Delhi tied to a Congress leader suspected of being a kingpin. “Congress wants to contest elections from the money it gets by pushing the youth towards drugs,” Modi asserted.
The Prime Minister also accused Congress of a historical lack of respect for marginalized communities, stating, “Like the British rule, this Congress family also does not consider Dalits, backward, and tribals as their equals.”
He claimed that Congress views India as a nation that should be governed by a single family, demonstrating a derogatory attitude towards communities like the Banjara.
