Hathras, 27th Sept. A Class 2 student at a private school in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras was allegedly “sacrificed” in a “black magic” ritual, police said today. The boy was reportedly killed earlier this week at his school hostel to bring “success” to DL Public School in Rasgawan.
Authorities have arrested five individuals, including the school’s director, his father, and three teachers. According to the police, the director’s father, Dinesh Baghel, believed in black magic. The group allegedly attempted to kill the boy near a tubewell outside the school but, after the child screamed, strangled him to death.
Police sources indicate that black magic-related items were discovered near the school. Further investigations revealed that the group had unsuccessfully attempted to sacrifice another student earlier this month.
The victim’s father, Krishan Kushwaha, was initially informed by the school that his son had fallen ill. He later found his son’s body in the car of the school director, Dinesh Baghel, after it had been transported to a hospital.
