A Bering Air flight with 10 people on board reportedly lost contact with radar near Nome, Alaska, on Friday, according to BNO News.
Alaska State Troopers confirmed that the missing aircraft was a commercial flight operated by Bering Air. In a statement, they mentioned, “On February 6, 2025, at 4:00 pm, AST was alerted by AKRCC about an overdue aircraft. It was reported that a Bering Air Caravan, with 9 passengers and 1 pilot, went missing while traveling from Unalaska to Nome. Search and rescue teams are working to reach the last known coordinates. Updates will be provided.”
