Ahmedabad, 6th Oct. In a major anti-drug operation, Gujarat’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized MD drugs and raw materials valued at ₹1,814 crore from a factory in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, announced the joint operation on Sunday, commending the collaborative efforts of the Gujarat ATS and NCB, Delhi.
The minister praised the agencies for their continued efforts in combating drug trafficking and safeguarding society’s security.
The raid is seen as a major step in the fight against drug abuse.
