Hyderabad , 25th Dec. Hyderabad witnessed a heartwarming gesture from the Telugu film industry after a child was injured during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre. Film producer Allu Aravind, father of actor Allu Arjun, visited the child and provided an update on his recovery. “After speaking to the doctors, we are very happy to know that the boy is recovering,” he said.
In a significant show of support, Allu Arjun, the film’s producers, and its director collectively pledged Rs 2 crore to assist the child’s recovery and support his family. Of this, Rs 1 crore was contributed by Allu Arjun, while Rs 50 lakhs each came from the producers and the director.
The amount has been handed over to Dil Raju, Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, for further assistance. This compassionate act highlights the industry’s commitment to social responsibility and community support, earning widespread appreciation.
