Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) may have unearthed a hidden gem in Aniket Verma, who delivered a standout performance in their second match of IPL 2025 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He later moved to Ankur Academy, where Jyotiprakash Tyagi played a crucial role in refining his batting skills. Currently, he trains at Faith Cricket Club, continuing his development as a promising young cricketer.
Rising Through the Ranks
Before making it to the IPL, Verma showcased his talent in domestic tournaments. He was the top scorer in a T20 competition in the Madhya Pradesh Premier League, proving his ability to dominate in the shortest format. Another highlight of his career was his performance for Bhopal Leopards, where he scored 273 runs in six matches, cementing his reputation as a powerful batter.
