During the discussions, PM Modi fondly recalled his visit to Washington, D.C., last month and his productive talks with President Donald Trump. He also acknowledged Gabbard’s contributions to strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of defense, critical technologies, and counter-terrorism.

Gabbard’s India visit is part of a larger multi-nation tour, with the Asia leg set to conclude on March 18 at the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi. She will deliver a keynote address at the multinational security conference, co-hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), where she will engage in a conversation with ORF President Samir Saran.
