In a deadly terror attack at Beersheba’s central bus station on Sunday, one person was killed and ten others were injured, according to Israeli police. The attacker, who carried out the assault, was shot dead by law enforcement at the scene.
Emergency responders from Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency and ambulance service, rushed to the scene. According to MDA officials, their paramedics provided critical care to nine injured individuals at the bus station.
Among the wounded, one was reported to be in moderate-to-serious condition, while four others were in moderate condition. Three individuals sustained minor injuries and were immediately transferred to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba for treatment.
This attack comes just days after another deadly shooting shook Israel. On October 1, a mass shooting in the Tel Aviv neighborhood of Jaffa resulted in eight fatalities and several injuries. The attackers targeted a crowded area near Jerusalem Street, leading to panic and chaos. Israeli authorities confirmed that two gunmen were involved in that assault, both of whom were neutralized by security forces.
