Former President Donald Trump has received a significant boost from recent polling data in the race for the White House, with five out of seven critical swing states now tilting in his favor. The latest opinion survey, conducted by AtlasIntel, indicates that Trump is outpacing Vice President Kamala Harris in several battleground states, positioning him as a strong contender as the election nears.
The polls show Trump leading in Michigan and Pennsylvania, two crucial states with a combined 33 electoral votes. In Michigan, Trump holds a 3-point lead over Harris, with 50.6% of likely voters supporting him compared to Harris’ 47.2%. Pennsylvania, which has been a key state in past elections, also shows Trump with a slight edge, garnering 51% of the vote to Harris’ 48.1%.
In addition to these gains, Trump is narrowly ahead in three more swing states: Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin. In Arizona, Trump leads by a slim margin of 49.8% to Harris’ 48.6%, while in Georgia, the race is even tighter, with Trump at 49.6% and Harris at 49%. Wisconsin presents a similar scenario, with Trump holding 49.7% of the vote, compared to Harris’ 48.2%.
However, the race is far from over, as Harris continues to hold leads in two key states. In North Carolina, she leads Trump with 50.5% of the vote to his 48.1%, securing an advantage in a state with 15 valuable electoral votes. Similarly, in Nevada, Harris holds a 2.8-point lead, with 50.5% of voters backing her compared to Trump’s 47.7%.
These leads, particularly in North Carolina, which holds 15 electoral votes, could prove pivotal for Harris if she can maintain or expand her advantage in the weeks leading up to Election Day.
