In a thrilling 23-over contest, Team D secured a commanding 6-wicket victory over Team B in a league match of the Mumbai Indians Junior Boys Rising Star Tournament in Mumbai on Monday.

Opting to bat first, Team B started well with opener Aakash Mangde leading the charge with a solid 54. He put together a crucial 66-run stand for the third wicket with Aayush Shinde (19). However, their innings crumbled spectacularly, losing seven wickets for just 27 runs, as they were bowled out for 107. Shaunak Gawade was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 4 wickets, while Ayush Yadav (2/5) and Aryan Purohit (2/15) provided strong support.
Chasing 108, Team D got off to a flying start as openers Harshit Bobade (43) and Shardul Fagare stitched together a 57-run stand. Team B fought back, led by Aarav Yadav’s impressive 3 for 11, but skipper Amogh Patil’s unbeaten 26 guided Team D to victory with 1.5 overs to spare and six wickets in hand.
