According to sources, jury members who made objectionable remarks could also face action. Hosted by comedian Samay Raina, India’s Got Latent has featured celebrities like Rakhi Sawant, Bharti Singh, Uorfi Javed, and Raghu Ram. Investigators are reportedly reaching out to audience members and participants for statements.
Authorities are also in touch with YouTube to seek the removal of episodes containing offensive content. The controversy erupted after Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, posed an explicit question to a contestant, sparking public outrage. Multiple police cases have been filed against Allahbadia, Raina, and others linked to the show.
The issue has now reached Parliament, with Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske demanding stricter censorship for OTT content.
