What PM Modi Said After Meeting Sundar Pichai At AI Summit In France

Google CEO Sundar Pichai was “delighted” to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday night in Paris during the AI Action Summit and discussed the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in India’s digital transformation.

The Alphabet CEO tweeted about his interaction with PM Modi on his social media handle.

He wrote, “Delighted to meet with PM @narendramodi today while in Paris for the AI Action Summit. We discussed the incredible opportunities AI will bring to India and ways we can work closely together on India’s digital transformation.” 

Prime Minister Modi responded to the tech mogul’s post by saying that India is making remarkable strides in Delhi. He urged him to invest in India and bet on the power of its youth.

“Glad to have met you @sundarpichai. India is making remarkable strides in AI, leveraging it for public good. We urge the world to come and invest in our nation and bet on our Yuva Shakti!”

Earlier in the day, PM Modi addressed the India-France CEOs Forum in Paris, stating that the forum plays a key role in strengthening economic ties and “fostering” innovation.

He also noted that business leaders from India and France are coming together to create new opportunities across key sectors, which he believes will drive growth and investment for future generations.
