The summit will bring together world leaders, technology experts, and business executives to explore collaborative approaches to AI-driven innovation. With AI increasingly influencing economies and societies, the discussions are expected to focus on ethical standards, regulatory frameworks, and its role in public welfare.
Beyond AI, PM Modi’s visit will also address key bilateral initiatives between India and France. A significant agenda item is the review of the 2047 Horizon Roadmap, an ambitious plan that outlines long-term cooperation in defense, trade, space, and sustainable energy. The two leaders are expected to assess progress on ongoing projects and explore new areas of collaboration.
In a historic diplomatic move, PM Modi will travel to Marseille to inaugurate India’s first consulate in France, marking a step towards deeper engagement with the Indian diaspora and enhancing bilateral relations. He will also visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project, a global initiative in which India is a key participant. The project, aimed at harnessing nuclear fusion for clean energy, represents a critical step in addressing future energy challenges.
Paying tribute to India’s contributions in global conflicts, PM Modi will also visit the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille. Here, he will honor the Indian soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives in World War I and World War II, reinforcing the deep historical ties between India and France.
