New Delhi, 4th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences over the demise of Karsanbhai Solanki, Member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, on February 4, 2025.
In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “The news of the passing of Shri Karsanbhai Solanki, Member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, is shocking. He will always be remembered for his simple life and the service he rendered for the welfare of the underprivileged.
Prayers for the peace of the departed soul and condolences to the grieving family. Om Shanti.”
Solanki, a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), had represented the Kadi constituency in the Gujarat Assembly. He passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was a respected figure known for his dedication to public service and his efforts for the betterment of his community.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also expressed his sorrow over Shri Solanki’s death and extended his condolences to the family. The loss of Shri Solanki is seen as a significant one for Gujarat’s political landscape.
