PM Modi To Visit US From September 21-23; Here’s Everything You Need To Know

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the United States from September 21 to 23, 2024, where he will participate in high-level engagements, including the fourth Quad Leaders Summit and the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Quad Leaders Summit In Wilmington

The visit will kick off with the Quad Leaders Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, on September 21, hosted by the US President Joe Biden. The Quad, which includes the US, India, Japan, and Australia, will focus on reviewing progress made over the past year and setting new goals to aid the development of the Indo-Pacific region. India has also agreed to host the 2025 Quad Summit, following a request from the US.

PM Modi To Address Indian Diaspora

Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to address the Indian diaspora on September 22 in New York. In addition, he will engage with CEOs from top US-based companies, aiming to strengthen collaboration in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology.

Address At The UN General Assembly

On September 23, Prime Minister Modi will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the UNGA in New York, where the theme, ‘Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,’ will be discussed among global leaders. This summit will gather a wide range of world leaders to discuss pressing international challenges and pathways to cooperative solutions.
